We are trying to assemble and document how we will mount a WISP for our community neighbors and I have little doubt but this is more a design level of IT.
This is the initial idea:
Fiber → Fiber Router → mikrotikc RouterboardOS → 1 Managed Switch 8 or 16 Gigabit → X Unifi LP (3 per floor of the building)
I doubt whether or not to add a switch to the installation, ie it would have 2 options:
Option 1:-Fibre → Fiber Router → mikrotikc RouterboardOS → Managed Switch 1 → X UniFi AP / AP-LR
Option 2:-Fibre → Fiber Router → mikrotikc RouterboardOS → X UniFi AP / AP-LR
What advantages / disadvantages would have with these options?
