Chipset Atheros AR5416

Hi,
I recently bought a Linksys wireless card based on the Atheros AR5416 chip. I wish to use it to made an access point based on the router OS software but… I can’t see the interface!! Is there a way to add It ? Is the chipset supported?

this is a 802.11n card, you need to use “upgrade license” button in your Winbox license menu, and then upgrade to v4.0 beta.

Is it a stable version? because I need to made an hotspot for a public library.

it’s a beta version. but 802.11n cards are supported ONLY in the beta version. it’s a new driver.

I have NWD-370N. Did you manage to get it to work on ROS4?

Is there nobody using 3rd party wifi card with AR5416 chipset?

we have one such card, and it works under v4. it’s an old chipset, and is not as good as the new ones.

good news, I won’t have to throw it away :slight_smile:
It’s still better then older AR5213 card from china that I currently use.
