We have ccr1009-7g-1c-1s+ with 60+ clients. Everything works fine. Router holds up well. Approximate traffic if 80-100mbs.
Now we have a requirement to put workstation on the same level with router and put new router above them. Workstation won’t effect any traffic at all (very slight internet consumption).
What would be the requirements for the new router? Should it be the same as existent router (ccr1009-7g-1c-1s+). Or could I put there something less expensive and weaker?
My assumption is that upper router will throughoutput the same amount of traffic and number of sessions. However, it will route traffic only to 2 clients. Will it decrease need in performance drastically or not?
For 80-100mbs you can buy HAP AX3. Or take your ccr1009-7g-1c-1s+ put it above and buy only swtich which will be on the same level as Workstation.
