CHR 6.48 on ESXi 6.7.0 CPU 50%

I have installed CHR 6.48 using the OVA template on ESXi 6.7.0 Server.

2 CPU (Server has 4 Cores and this is only VM running)
1G Memory
10GB Storage (Paravirtual)
1 Network (VMXNET3)

Anytime Dude is enabled CPU is maxed on 1 core. Fresh install with no devices in Dude.
Disable Dude and it goes back to normal CPU usage.

Any ideas?

I’m running 6.48 on ESXi 6.7.0 U3 with 1 vCPU and 128 MB RAM and two VMXNET3 NICs - I just enabled Dude and didn’t see what you’re experiencing. It initially spiked from 10 MHz to about 150 MHz of CPU then it settled back down to about 30 MHz. Is your CPU reservation in vSphere set to “normal” and “unlimited” for the VM?
