I know this has been talked about somewhat before, but I am looking to utilize CHR as a centralized DHCP server. I already have the relay’s in place and tested with windows DHCP but I have a requirement to utilize RouterOS as the DHCP server as there are hooks into our Customer Management software. I have created DHCP many time within RouterOS but I have found the requirement being each DHCP server/Instance needs to have a dedicated interface and to me it isn’t feasible to have a dedicated interface for every subnet I want to perform DHCP for. I had a though of creating multiple pools but the catch is only one pool for each server and I am not sure if choosing a “Next Pool” would accomplish what I am trying to do. I figured I would ask here before spending a bunch of time on this, but I can’t help but feel I am missing something.
