CHR, custom recreated instance from AMI

Hi all,

I got a bit stuck - when trying to recreate CHR instance from AMI ( just restoring snapshot ). Looks like the issue is not related to AWS functionality: Security Groups, ACL, Subnets are the same as on original instance.I can see the console is up but see no network connectivity.

Can anyone drop a hint?

I saw that if I run AMI in different AZ, it will not work.
