I think this is due to not having xentools installed. When I live migrate a CHR between two XenServer hosts, the CHR locks up and is completely non-responsive. no console, no pings, etc.
Anyone else confirm this or have a solution? CHR 6.35rc14 and a number of previous versions tested.
I have everything logging to disk and get zero entries in the log, just the standard ‘router was rebooted without proper shutdown’
Same with CHR 6.39.2 and XenServer 7.1
Yes, still no xentools available for CHR, still crashing on live migration.
Survives a live migration on ProxMox just fine, doesn’t even kill the winbox session. I don’t think there’s anything inherent to CHR that makes it incapable of live migrating.
