We’re running CHR in a VMware environment.
As soon as we start pushing some traffic packets drop now and then.
The more we push, the more drops we get.
Looking into VMware it states that the ring buffer size of the guest OS is too small and that it’s been overflooded nearly 2000 times.
The problem occurs when traffic exceeds about 40kpps.
