Chromecast Hotspot Problem

Hello Everybody,

We have the Problem that we installed a Triaxcastsystem(Chromcast) to a Hotel without activated Hotspot it works fine, but if I turn the Hotspot on, it can’t connect with my phone correctly(for sure we accepted the AGB`s first).

Our System buildup looks like This:

We use following VLANS:

Hotspot Network= 10.20.0.254/ DHCP 10.20.1.1-10.20.254.254 Triaxcastserver IP: 10.20.0.200+201 for communication between Phone an Chromcasts
Chromecast Network= 10.120.0.254/24 DHCP 10.120.0.1-99 Triaxcastserver IP: 10.120.0.200 for Chromcast
Management Network= 10.50.0.254/24 DHCP: / Triaxcastserver IP: 10.50.0.200 to Acces GUI of the Server

The right tagging comes over the Switch.

So, we found already out that the problem comes from the Hotspot-Server of the Mikrotik. As I already wrote above the System works fine when I turn off the Hotspot in the Net 10.20.0.254/16. Any Idea what can block any traffic between the Phone and the server Maybe? Did you already have maybe a problem like this about a Cast System and Hotspot?

You cannot have chromecast and user on different networks with MikroTik solutions without extensive tweaking.
The easiest solution is to put the chromecast on the same (hotspot) network where the users are.
