Clarification on SXT 5D antenna mount

Hi,

I have seen the type of antenna which is mounted with the board. But i have a doubt that why is the one more plastic sheet layer which has been fixed on top of the antenna, Any specific reason for this ?

Or just to hide the antenna type in this Model?

Can anyone clarify this doubt?

Rishi

I don’t know what you mean, the yellow plastic sheet with the squares actually is the antenna itself!

So you mean to say that, the yellow plastic cover itself a antennae or what?

But there was no communication between the metal plate and yellow plastic sheet?

Why is that show? and is there any specific method followed to built this type of antenna?

you need to read about antennas if you ask such questions.

yes, the squares are dipoles, they direct and form the signal, they don’t need to be connected anywhere. in the case of a dish antenna, the dish is also not connected anywhere, only the feed is.

Thanks for reply… I will get back to you soon
