some times i used a workaround - in system logging set logging lines to 1 and then back to 100 
or if the logs are set to memory - just reboot
usualy there is no such privilige as reboot
my logs is on hard disk 100 000 lines how to clear
normis can you tell script or method to clear script.
set log to 1 line and then back to number you had. (that is, if you are using /system logging)
