A way to clear port/interface counters?
its a simple option… but can’t seem to do it without rebooting.. which doens’t seem good for uptime
Those counters are “as of startup”. You can’t reset them unless you restart. Why are you concerned about restarting your uptime? Is resetting the counters something you need to do often? If so, why?
if you solved the problem with broken cable, you don’t need to reboot your router to reset error counters, do you?
