In the webconfig, I clicked “Download & Upgrade” and the router updated. Now I have internet access but I cannot access webconfig again (192.168.88.1). This is a new router and I had not yet changed the default “admin” username with no password set.
Seems I’m either missing something basic or may need to reset the router.

Access your router and click on System->Routerboard and select upgrade if your current firmware is older than the upgrade firmware. Agree to upgrade and click OK. I don’t think this has anything to do with your problem but it ought to be done.
Go to System->Reset Configuration checkmark “Do Not Backup” and then click Reset Configuration and agree to Reset and Reboot. This may fix your problem if your firmware was pre v6.41.
