client cant see SSID? but see's others ?!?

I had a client who’s laptop i could not get to see the ssid of any of my 15 WRAP 2c boards with 2 8602 cards in them each. (in windows)

This was a new toshiba laptop and was picking up my engenius access point SSID and some 2 random Linksys’s. It was able to connect and surf on any of those. however none of my wrap + MT configs were showing up.

ANyone had this issue? I tried chaning the channel and even chaning modes just to get the ssid to show up…nothing here is the wirelss config for that floor (actually its pretty much the same for every floor):

note: other clients have connected and continue to connect to these floors too.

what version routeros?
did you try to set the new “proprietary extensions” feature to post-2.95?

SMA

oi, are those 802.11g or 802.11b clients?

I know the client was using a toshiba laptop with a intel wireless chipset..brand new, she just bought it a day before.

802.11g i’m assuming.

she was able to see my engenius access point when she walked down to it..

EDIT: routeros 2.9.22 btw.

tks

jo2jo,
follow this link
that’s explain ‘proprietary-extension’ settings.
Probably, it will help to resolve your issue. You will have to upgrade router.
