Client drops, when uploading.

Good day, community.

I’m hoping that I can get some advice from the community.
We have a PPPoE client that is dropping connection when he starts any upload.

If we do a bandwidth test to the client, the Download is stable at 10Mbps but if we switch it over to upload he drops the connection.
We have replaced the Groove and the POE connector on his house and we have installed a new Wireless card on the tower. It still happens.

There are 20+ clients connected to the tower and it is only the one client that is having the problem. We also upgraded the firmware for both the User and the Tower and the problem still present.

The client is getting annoyed because he cannot get any work done.

You need to check the signal levels, ccq and modulation of both sides when the link is under load.

I cannot see what the upload looks like because it disconnects before we can get the info needed. But with the download, the Signal and CCQ is above average. It’s actually good. Even under download load the Signal and CCQ is looking good.

Make artificial load about 5mbits both ways and see the values. Hope it can keep the connection. If not, try to lower the load.
