Clients Disconnections Problems

Greetings all,

I have a RB 433AH running RouterOS 4.4 and before version 3.3 with an XR2 card for a PtMP operation. We have 10 clients (CPEs) using NS2 and HGA radios with WPA PSK/TKIP encryption.

However, I have been noticing that all of our CPEs from time to time have been disconnected and than re-connected (very quickly) and we observe the following message in our logs: disconnected, unicast key exchange timeout .

Suddenly, today December 25 2009 all our connections went down. Now, is worst then ever, because we cannot even see any client associated to our AP, except one client (NS2) that that was able to connect, but was quickly disconnected.

This is important to resolve. All of the clients our health units connected to a main hospital (AP side).

Merry Christmas to all!

Thanks in advanced.

did u snoop area? And why u run unstable ROs on important network? U should try to snopp area, and recall ROs by downgrading it to 4.3 (stable)

I did not know that version 4.4 is unstable, I thought it was, because when you go to Mikrotik’s website and you go to the download section, it states that version 4,4 is stable. So should I still downgrade it to version 4.3? and where should I download it from in case of?

And yes, after posting our issue, I did a scan to the wireless signals around our AP (snooper) and moved to a better channel. Afterwards, all of our CPEs connected immediately to our AP. Been remotely entering to the base station and until “the moment” everything is working well

Ou my bad, 4.4 already is stable. Sorry bout that.

Odd! Now I see one of our CPE that is sending “sent, deauth” and therefore, it is disassociating the rest of our clients? Any clue?

Thanks.
