RB2011UiAS-2HnD (misbe) Firmware version: 3.18
For some reason, since day 1 I’ve had problems with the clock and/or sNTP.
I dont know what the problem is, but the times/dates will be wrong in some places
but yet (sometimes) right in other places.
Its like they are not programmed to interact in the Router’s O/S?
What am I doing wrong? I dont think the firewall is blocking it. Thanks

The screenshot of your SNTP config shows that the servers were never reached.
Once they were successfully polled, you will see data in “Last Update From” and the subsequent fields as you can see in my screenshot:

So it’s pretty much the firewall or the servers themselves.
Try a server from 0..pool.ntp.org.

You were right, it was just an IP gone bad! Firewall wasnt blocking it. IANA says that NTP also runs over TCP port 123 but my Tik wasnt using it, it was only using UDP 123 in & output. I put my firewall back to normal cause it was already allowing it previously.
I guess I just really needed to see a working NTP client & clock GUI window. Thanks so much!
In the link below is a schedule with a short script that will update your NTP primary and secondary IP address every 30 minutes. I have it running . I can’t remember if I had to edit the script.
