Does the Cloud Router come with inbuilt License ?
Like I bought CCR1009 4 months back and and the seller sold me the license extra for 200$.
When I asked why, he said, since you need to installed Microtik OS on a customer server, you need an extra license.
So, basically the cloud router inbuilt license is intact and un used ?
Now Im selling the 1009 and getting the 1036.
So, the friend who is buying it, he can use the inbuilt license ?
License is required for each physical device. If you have two RouterOS devices, the CCR1009 and also a PC with RouterOS, then yes, for the PC you need a separate license.
But if you buy a new CCR1036, it will have a license for it already.
Im going to have 4 x 155Mbps input with a customer load of 2000,all with plans with 1,2,4,8,10,20,30,50Mbps plans.
So, my new network diagram is,
1036 as core router (4 ISP fiber links get into SFP, BGP and Load Balancing done in 1036) ->>>
1009 working as NAS >>
One patch goes to CRS125 and one patch goes to UBNT EdgeSwitch >>
They power the wireless AP and my FTTH delivery to customers.
