Hi all!
I am interested in upgrading the RAM in my ccr1016-12g router by Mikrotik. I searched through the website and could find no information regarding RAM Upgrades. Could someone point me in the right direction for instructions and specifications of the RAM that I would need to purchase?

Brochure says “Two SODIMM DDR3 slots, 2x 2GB DDR3 10600 modules installed”
So you need to find DDR3 SODIMM at 10600 speed.

So, if I purchase http://www.crucial.com/store/partspecs.aspx?imodule=CT2KIT102464BF1339 , I can just open up my CCR and then just take out the old, and put in the new?

Our EM model uses a tested memory module (at the full temperature range in the datasheet) and not all the modules we tested worked (even though the specs were the same) – so there is some risk. We do have a memory tester that can be left running when you try your new modules – but we also have a temperature chamber test when we confirm that they work.
So basically, it might work, but I recommend using our CCR “EM” offering with the tested modules.

Before the new year, I will be definitely purchasing the CCR1036-12G-4S-EM… Wanted to upgrade my current setup, as I can’t help but having the best at all times. Just got done buying gold plated Cat 6a Ethernet cables
