I am new to vrrp and clustering, but I am not new to unix server clusters etc, especially hacmp and similar.
I need to have a clustered solution that failover to another mikrotik router in case of hardware problems with the other. I do not look after a loadbalancing variant, just hardware failover to another exactly the same configuration device.
The router setup is not complex, but there are dual ISP:s, several IPSEC tunnels, firrwall and nat rules plus traffic queues and some more protection against port scans and dos attacks.
VRRP as far of my knowledge only handles FIX IP on them, here I have HA interfaces that should recieve dhcp addresses. The router is acting dhcp client on some of the interfaces.
How do I achieve this ?
