I have CM9 (Atheros AR5213) card, if I use it in old RB532, it works fine, if I use it in RB333, I canno choose 2,4 GHz band (just 2GHz and 5GHz, nothing more is in a list). RB firmware is 2.18 (newest), MT is 5.24.
Any ideas?
it is just naming of the band, select 2ghz band and select frequency you are allowed to use in your regulatory domain. Default will be 2412 if i am not mistaken.
Yes, I used 2GHz-B/G band and set proper frequency in next field, but signal is fluctuating, very often is lost and in Registration Tx/Rx field I can see very often 5,5M/28M and similar values. Occasionally there is 54M/54M, but qualitty is poor anyway. I am 2 meters from RB333 with 5dB antenna, I am only the client on AP. I would expect problem with connector or cable from CM9 to RSMA, but as I wrote in previous post, if I use it in RB532, it looks that everything is OK, speed and signal is fine.
