Is there a way to name the IPs
like 10.77.184.0/24 = WestLan
then everywhere that needs an IP I can just enter WestLan rather than the IP?

are you asking about DNS?..
wo_Ot
On other routers you can name an interface.
So from then on all of the times you dont have to type in the IP, save lots of time when setting up the router.
So instead of type “10.0.72.5” every single place that needs this ip you could enter like “Inside”
Its not a DNS entry
No, routerOS does not support names like for example a Cisco ASA. However, within the firewall rules you should be able to work around this by using address-lists, which are named and can contain one or more IP objects, and are an alternative to both names and network object-groups on ASAs.
hmmm… so just use ‘in/out-interface=bla-bla-bla’ in firewall rules
