Hi all,
I’m new to mikrotik but obviously i see its being used around alot more than before.
I have one installed where i work, and its has some challenges sometimes. Right now its giving the message “routerOS is disconnected” after some minutes.
Its used for both wired/wireless network.
I’m thinking somethings wrong with my NIC but shld anyone be willing , i’ll like to have a mentor in this forum or on a private basis. Thanks 
Sounds like you need to assign an IP to your interfaces. Are you logging into your routerboard via MAC? -Jordan
hello Jordan, cna you help me thru it. i think i have that already in the configuration.
local ip and internet ip.
I can help you on here the best i can with what you give me. If you have already set an IP to your interface You should be logging into your router with winbox using an IP, and Not a Mac address. If you are doing this and you still keep getting kicked off the rotuer check your log. Is your router restarting? The Log shows you everything that goes on. Read the manual also that will help you with things. and ask questions here. It is the best way to learn. You can give a man a fish., Or you can teach him how. I beleive thats the common goal here on the fourms. Let me know how it goes. -Jordan
