I have an RB450 that I just received.
I am trying to get 2 networks to talk to each other.
One is 172.17.1.2 the other is 172.16.1.2.
Anyone point me in the right direction as to what I need to set up?
I was told to start with VLans and create a rule.
The router will automatically route between all subnets. If they are on separate routed interfaces it is usually cleaner and more reliable.
If you have the two subnets assigned to the 450 as described bellow and it’s not working, you will likely need to check the routing tables on your two servers to make sure they are using the 450 to reply back to each other.
