I have two seperate phone lines each with 512 kb/sec Adsl account running on windows server 2003 . im looking forward to combine the Adsl bandwith of these two Adsl lines into one major line ! I have searched on many forums and from all the knowledge i have gathered .. it seems it can be done either using a dual wan port routers or using two NIC’s on a linux/unix box . I m interested in getting aggregate bandwith + Load balancing feature + auto failover support . Does RouterOS supports this Adsl Multibonding/Multiplexing feature ? thanx for your answer . ( and btw .. im a noob in networking )
You cant bond unless your ISP supports it.
you can do policy routing, direct some of the traffic through one, and the rest through the other
There are some examples throughout this forum, also you can find very usefull information in the User Manual, about load balancing and failover and policy routing.
