i have 3 adsl modem . one of them is 1port and other is 4port wireless
i will buy later a 4g modem usb for backup
in my home there is 4 device connect with lan cable and 3 device with wireless

in my scenario . i will Combining up to 3 Broadband Connections for download and other work and use 4g modem for failover just for http , mail , social app

The hAP ac is newer and faster, and it also has dual band wireless with 5ghz ac. On the other hand, it only has 5 ports+1 sfp, but you need at least 7 ethernet (3 wan+4 lan), so you would also need to purchase a switch.

I think that both device have more than sufficient cpu power for your usage. RB2011 can handle pppoe+nat up to 200mbps+ aggregated (tx+rx) without cpu being the bottleneck. I haven’t tested a hap ac yet.

PS: the hAP ac has a USB-A receptale/female connector soldered onto the board, while the 2011 has a micro-usb connector and it has a short micro-usb to USB-A adapter cable included, which makes it more flexible to have a modem connected. Sometimes modems are bulky and wider than the height of the hAP. (similar to otg cables used for smart phones)
