Hi, everyone. I am a newbie to this forum and Sorry for my English as it isn’t my mother language.
In this topic, I would like to know about more information of the MikroTik router product [wAP R ac] and [wAP ac 4G kit].
Possibly one of these routers will be my first customized router.
Currently I am doing some simple testing on LoRa product (my school project in the follow semester), I started to do some searching and finally find that the MikroTik provided wAP LoRa8 kit. However, the router in that kit does not support Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). Then I changed to view other products and found [wAP R ac] and [wAP ac 4G kit] which support ac Wi-Fi.
My questions are:
How do the [wAP ac 4G kit] support 4G cellular network? Is the 4G card occupied the mini PCIe slot? or Is the 4G module integrated in the board?
Can I install and use the [R11e-LoRa8] mini-PCIe card on the [wAP R ac] and [wAP ac 4G kit].mini PCIe slot? I have read the introduction and it said “It enables LoRaWAN connectivity for any MikroTik product that has mPCIe slot with connected USB lines.” I am not sure about this.
