Compatible DWDM SFP+ Modules?

Hi all,

I need a 10Gbps DWDM SFP+ for one of our CCR1072.
Is there a module on the market, which is known to be working?

I have bought the Cisco DWDM SFP+ from amazon, it is fine on my network. But I don’t know whether it will work on your CCR1072 router, and it is too expensive. Or if you really want to save a shed load of money, you can look at the fs.com. I heard so many people recommends fs.com on reddit, and their sfps are nearly $16. thanks for the reply. I heard of fs.com before. But I also heard that DWDM modules didn’t work in the CCRs.
But compared to Cisco they’re pretty low priced, that’s true.

fs.com DWDM SFP+ modules work fine on CCR1036.

Little oftopic but tested those basic SFP+ fs.com modules on 1072 and 10-80km worked fine but 100km wont. And we tried recoding modules but no luck.

100km? I have never heard that the DWDM SFP+ can reach up to 100 km. How is it possible?

Mostly they’re just “good” 80km optics with some extra Forward Error Correction thrown in. :slight_smile:
