compatible microSD

Dear all,


I’m trying to install a microSD card to my 450G routerboard.

I use 3.22 ROS and 4GB Sandisk microSDHC card.

I noticed that if I move data from my computer to the winbox/files menu, transfer is very slow. Sometimes 3.5Mbps sometimes 19kbps.

Anyone tried this microsd succesfully? I need to make a proxy with this RB.

The other option is to buy a expensive SONY microSD or Kingston microSD, but I think kingston don’t work well with RBs..


Leave your comments please! Let’s find a good microSD. I noticed in http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Supported_Hardware that 8GB Sandisk version works good.. : /

Try to “speed test” via FTP, I think you can upload to hte microSD…

Just try to enable proxy and try to downlaod a big file two times to get it from proxy cache the second time… + try to open a lot of tabs in firefox all at once… to stress test proxy.. and see this topic http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/web-proxy-cache/27904/1
