compiler firmware

i want a program for programing the router [compiler firmware], since i have new ideas for having hi-speed connection :sunglasses:

does any one have an idea about this subject

You cannot modify RouterOS, or add things to it.

not necessary to be the same Router-OS I need modify any router D’link or TPLink or edmax or any other

Then I’d suggest you look up OpenWRT, but that’s completely outside the scope of these forums.

linksys WRT54GS do it have an open source software. and what is the software for programing this routers ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

Your best bet would be to start with an x86 version of your idea. Get CentOS or Ubuntu or whatever your favorite flavor of Linux is. You can get PCI cards that do wireless or just about any connection you can think of. From there you can compile using C++ or Java or whatever your favorite programming language is. Once you’ve proven your concept, then you can get it shrunken down to code that will then fit on an appliance platform. With few exceptions, most router hardware is based on Linux.

this forum is about RouterOS, not linksys with wrt.
