I think MT tries to do too much with to small staff. Reading feature requests in this forum I think users are a part of the problem. There is so much details which can be done so there stays no time for quality control. MT should have a priority list of features and concentrate on some of them and they need a qualitiy control which is worth the name. They should test a release on a running network (may be they should partner with an WISP to do this) for at least 2 weeks to find at least the basic bugs. If changes are done this 2 weeks have to start again …
We still work with 5.x on routers without wireless card. Sectors run with 6.10 now. We still have to fiddle around with nv2/nstreme as nv2 reduces tcp performance while nstreme is less stable with interference.
I would like they take the time to make nv2 perfect and omit some features we dont use.
