conecting MT client to non MT AP with WEP security

I have this new treat for MT advanced users

I have a MT as client and the AP is a linksys router with WEP key set at 64bit

MT client setup
Routerboard 112
Winston CM9 2.4ghz radio

AP
Linksys WRT54G
WEP 64bit
KEY1 = 54321qwert

I am able to connect to other Dlink AP with non wireless security, but that AP belongs to some one in this building so I can’t use that connection. That Linksys AP belongs to ISP provider so they administrate that router, so I can’t change that wireless security.

Use this configuration, select 40bit WEP, it it the same as 64bit,

Yes

I use the example but I am not able to use simple WEB encryption

I am using a Winstrom CM9 radio

My ISP is using a simple a non good secure wireless security they are using simple WEP 64bit keycode on hex

what I am doing wrong

Hai frens,

yes, we used this feature since two years ago to connect to all our roaming networks, 40bit or 104bit WEP is working fine for us.
