Configuration example of MikroTik Router OS 3.x and XR3 Card

I need some desperate help. I’m trying to bench test XR3 cards and I cannot seem to come up with a configuration to make these cards to let alone be able to see each other but be able to associate. Can someone please provide detailed configuration of XR3 point to point link using MikroTik Router OS 3.x. We currently do have the superchannel license installed on both the MikroTik Routers in question. This is something that we needed yesterday so any immediate help would be extremely appreciated. I am not going to sleep until this works.

I have a PtP link in service using Mikrotik RB411AH with XR3-3.7 cards. (ARC Wireless antennas). 20MHz channel.

I set them up to bridge just like I do normally for my 5GHz PtP links.

The only difference is the Frequency and scan list. I am using 5770 for the freq. Converts to 3.663GHz.
Scan list is set 5765 to 5775.

Tom - I must be a little confused on how those cards convert channels then. The ‘slip of paper’ that comes with the cards stats that the conversion is a 2ghz off set. In this case how would 5770 convert to 3663? We did get this to work but it was by changing the country code to austria.

Thanks,
Adam

There is a difference between the 3.5 XR3 cards and the 3.7 version for part 90. The 3.5 cards are a 2ghz offset and the 3.7 version is a different format:

5765 - 3658
5770 - 3663
5775 - 3668

Tom

tomswenson, do you have full freq mapping table for these cards?

I’m not sure what you mean, these are the only freq’s available to use with the 3.7.

Tom

Hmm but as you wrote earlier, in 3.5 card version there is simple 2Ghz offset, so if you set in MikroTik (for example) 5700 freq then you get 3700 real?
Am i right?

Yes, you have the correct.
