I started off with a RB450G and a time warner cable modem connection of 35down and 5 up. I recently got upgraded to 300 down and 20 up. HOWEVER now my router seems to struggle with getting a 10meg speed test, Unplugged the router connected straight to the modem and get 300+ down, Connected a RB750 with a default config and got 300+ down. So I thought maybe it was a issue with my router. I backed up my configuration and purchased a RB100AHX2 loaded my configuration and my user manager and was up and running but with the SAME issue, can barley get over 10 megs.
unfortunately I am still very new to RousterOS and I got this configuration from a web search I did a little over a year ago and it has worked perfectly for me till this issue.
One thing I want to add, if I set the ethernet gateway to 1000half or 1000full I can only get a little over 6 megs down.
after setting it to 100meg Auto negotiation and it is negotiated at 100 full I get close to my 10megs down
I really would like to get this resolved, your help would be most appreciated!!!
