I do all the tech work for a small business that uses a MikroTik RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN wireless router. I have had little interaction with the device in the 4 years, really only disabling the wireless function after buying a wireless ap in all this time. We recently had a change of ownership so I went into winbox to change the device id so that our old company name didn’t show up anymore. Without thinking I made the change in the quickset area of winbox. Now I can’t seem to get out to the internet on any of the computers I have on the network. I have checked the settings and they seem to be correct but I am kind of a novice so I feel like I might be missing something. I can ping out from the mikrotik, though the pings are in the 600+ range, but no ping works on my computers. I did a release/renew on my computer and got a new ip address and I’m pinging the router so that connection seems to be there. Is there a bridge settings that I am missing somewhere? I have a backup of the config as it is now if there is a way I could attach it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
PS I am at home now my office closed a couple of hours ago so I will most likely be working on this issue in the morning.
