Use default configuration and it will provide the ip addresses over dhcp to your devices.
and if you are after a “fixed” IP address from your DHCP pool, option DHCP server, see leases, and right click the IP addresses, select make sattic. this create a “bound” between the MAC address and the IP address: so the selected MAC address will always get the specificed IP address from your DHCP server.
You may change the IP if you wish and it will be applied when the next time the client renew IP.
solar 77 is that how one “RESERVES” IP for specific devices. In my current router I have a reserve checkbox for detected devices which drives every connection later on to that IP for that device (a mac address based connection).
