Configuration RB450GX4

Hello,

I have some problems configuring the RB450GX4 router to work with an RS232 connected card (to control 2 output relays, we just send simple commands like “Set21”).
One of my problems :
I configure the router like this :

/system routerboard settings
set baud-rate=off silent-boot=yes
/system console remove numbers=0
/port
set 0 name=serial0
/port remote-access
add port=serial0 tcp-port=11000

Then, I reboot the router via system reboot command. When I go back to system ports, the port named serial0 became inactive and I don’t know why it became like this and how to reactivate it.

I also look for add a port in port list (cause there is the remove option but not the add option…).

To finish, how to totally reset a router without access to the dashboard (One of these that I have is inaccessible with WinBox, when I try to connect to, the connection is cancel a few seconds later).

To use serial port you need usb to serial converter and a null cable modem.

You can use Trendnet TU-S9 + Tripplite P450-006 for example.

Using default config on serial port should be work.

I use an electronic card on the serial port to control a relay board with two outputs. The communication with this card is OK (it contains an RS232 controller).

The default config uses console access on serial port, I need a remote access
