Configure as router and gateway to home wifi

I have a 951G-2HnD running 6.46.5.
I want the router to connect to my home wifi and act as a gateway to the home wifi. The goal is to use the home wifi to provide Internet access to the Mikrotik router and its clients.

I plugged a raspberry pi into the router to provide a keyboard and monitor. Then I opened Webfig in a browser.

I followed this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zp2PsveGyU&list=PLCvN_Pl1Blxh2ejJCGI4T-xzL3VrYtsKS&index=65 but I used “bridged” mode.

That worked, but I could no longer access Webfig. The bridge was totally transparent.
I factory reset the router and tried again, but this time chose “router” instead of bridged.
I still could not access Webfig.

How can I accomplish my goal and still have access to Webfig? Can someone point me to a tutorial or instructions?

Using Mikrotik Winbox instead of Webfig is the best option. You should be able to connect to the device using the MAC Address to configure your device. It is also best practice to reset the device without default configuration and configure it manually than trying to rely on the basic scripts in the Quick Set to do a not so basic setup.
