I’d like to create simple queues to control bandwidth by IP or group of IP’s using a RB750. This device is not a gateway device but rather in the middle of a segment of a single subnet. I simply want to restrict traffic from that segment of the network. I currently have one cable in port 4 (uplink) and one in port 5 (downlink). I’ve configured a couple simple queues to restrict on IP but it doesn’t seem to be identifying the traffic. Any thoughts?
If you run default configuration (or modified default configuration), make sure you have /interface bridge settings set use-ip-firewall=yes.
