first of all i would like to sorry about my english
i have a situation to setup a mikrotik router os on a pc to control user access to the internet
the firm which i’m doing that setup for them have a adsl router that connected to a 2811 cisco router which serve network with dhcp requests and nating service
and i have no access to the cisco
the solution i would like to apply is to connect the mikrotik interface 1 to the cisco with static ip 192.168.1.50
and connect the mikrotik interface 2 with network with ip 192.168.1.51 cause as previously said that cisco is providing dhcp service
and apply hotspot server on mikrotik to control user access
and make mikrotik pass dhcp requests
put the problem happend when i confiqure two mikrotik interfaces with the same subnet mask, it doesnt work
any ideas !!!

Use Bridge, add both interfaces to the bridge, move the address to the bridge, add Hotspot on the bridge, don’t forget to add the modem to ‘walled garden’
