Configure wAP LTE for remote management

Hello,

Currently I have a Mikrotik wAP LTE configured in passthrough mode, connected to ether1 interface of a Mikrotik RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN router. Everything is working fine. Now what I want to know is exactly how to configure the Mikrotik wAP LTE, and maybe the Mikrotik RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN too, so that I can access wAP LTE via winbox.exe from a computer connected to the Mikrotik RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN router.

  1. You can enable the ROMON on the wap lte and RB2011 and connect via ROMON to the wap lte.
  2. Add a Vlan interface (for the management) on top of the ethernet on the wap lte and rb2011.

You can use the wifi now since you don’t have access to the ethernet to configure the board.
