configuring cache from the beginning

dear all

i tried to configure cache but failed and lost.
i read the manual and did what asked also but no cache to work.
can anyone help plz.
all what i have is: ERROR
The requested URL could not be retrieved

can anyone tell me where my mistake is plz.

  1. Enable “Transparent Proxy”
  2. Check the “in interface” it should be “LOCAL” not public…

the counter in the firewall - nat is counting now.
is there a way to know that the cache is really working?

Check the Webproxy Status…

‘Web-proxy test’ package provides even more useful information, ‘ip proxy connections print’ gives quite detailed input about current connections to the proxy.

The filter in the Firewall – Nat that i made is counting and the browsing is working fine, but the status in the webproxy is NOT counting.

what does this mean? that the cache is not working?

Have you enabled proxy ?
I think you can paste proxy configuration export ‘ip web-proxy export’. However if you created correct NAT rule to redirect HTTP traffic to the proxy, web should not work in case of disabled/wrongly configured proxy.

Did I miss something while upgradeing or packages are, just, not … :open_mouth: finished !?
