Confirm that this firmware will work with RB532?

Hi there

My RB532 says this;

system routerboard print
routerboard: yes
model: “532A”
serial-number: “16C901D3FA87”
current-firmware: “2.10”
upgrade-firmware: “2.12”

But I see that this firmware is available;
http://www.routerboard.com/files/rb-2.15/adm5120-2.15.fwf

Can I use this for the 532?

No, your routerOS need 2.12 version, and it’s available now on RouterOS,
Just follow like this with CLI command

/syst rout print




/syst rout upgr

and select Y, than please reboot your router quickly.

/syst rebo

select Y
after reboot check your new firmware installed, … good luck :wink:

your’s shows 2.12 because you don’t have latest RouterOS installed. when you install RouterOS 3.9 along with the RouterBOARD package, it will show you latest firmware available.

Apart from that - balimore is right, just upgrade.

i upgrade it to 2.15, now the routerboad stop working unless i reset it !!! help
