Confused about rts/cts

Yes, this option is called “RTS Threshold” in all other WiFi devices/drivers.
(why Mikrotik always rename things to some self-invented names, when the terminology is existing and widely used for so many years? Another example: HTB “rate” vs. Mikrotik “limit-at”. HTB “ceil” vs. Mikrotik “max-limit”, … many other examples can be found in all GPL packages Mikrotik uses…)

Mikrotik terminology is often confusing like this: “hw-protection” used by mikrotik for all 802.11 protocols is similar to “RTS/CTS protection” technique defined by the 802.11g standard for protecting the 802.11B-only stations transmissions against 802.11g-only stations in mixed b/g environment. So why Mikrotik uses the “protection” term also in 802.11a, where are no such problems with legacy (802.11b) devices?

Should we report their strange terminology in the “-test” packages as bugs? Is anybody aware that Mikrotik would change the terminology to more appropriate names on users request ?

Yes, I confirm this, I have noticed this bug also on the x86 version.
