I’m working with a RB411UAHR routerboars and ROS v5.1 in station mode.
I have setup the connect list in order to connect to one AP. In this setup, I only give the MAC address and the security profile.
If the AP has the SSID hidden the routerboard is not able to connect with it.
The AP shows it in the scanning list (even it has the higher Signal Strength), but in the log file says:
“no network that satisfies connect-list, by default choose with strongest signal”, and then it tries to connect with the strongest signal that has a visible SSID.
Ignoring the Signal Strength of the hiden SSID.
If I make the SSID of the AP visible, then the connect list works and the routerboard connects to the AP.
Is there any setup to change this behaviour in order not to ignore the hidden SSID AP’s?
