SOHO, small business.
6 Mac worksations with heavy internet use with softphones and a few windows rigs and printers, “Vlan A”
asterisk server and 10 sip phones using twilio as provider “Vlan B”
Question: best way to connect workstation softphones to asterisk server on the other vlan? I’m trying to segregate all my voip from the surfing by same workstations, but want to sneak in those softphones!

reading up: my switch chip is the QCA8337. It does not hardware off-load VLan filtering?
I’m hoping a kind soul will push me in the right direction for the fastest VLANinterconnection config to let my workstation softphones jump over to the Voip VLAN, but screen out all other workstation traffic from VOIP vlan.
- should I segregate my VOIP and Data Vlans to each switch chip, or attach them to a bridge on a single switch chip?
- can I load balance a vlan WAN use based on latency? what would be the way to configure the two wans so I can easily switch which a particlur vlan is using?
