forgive me my noobness. My need is share a network connection to an IP-camera that is a few hundred meters away. I have two mikrotik sextant devices. I followed this instruction https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Bridging_Networks_with_SXT on the receiveing end 4 led lights went on (I assume this means there is a connection) But when I connect AP to the network and I plug my laptop to the station I don’t receive the LAN connection. Am I missing something?
from what i remember sextand does not have the l4 licence - amd it cannot be a AP. Then you need to use it as a bridge. Put AP as a bridge dynamic wds with default bridge bridge - and put ethernet to bridge. then have the client as wds-client. put wlan and ethernet to a bridge interface. samme ssid and freq - and you are good to go
