connecting 2 office sites

hi, can anyone suggest the best way to connect our main office (over the internet), with the remote office through routerboard. we would like to have access to computers in the remote office, and vice versa. how do we go about it, and what is the most secure option.

the office will have 5-6 computers, so which hardware would i need that will be robust enough.

thanks

Hello.
If this is a new setup I think I’d use RB750G on both ends. If you already have something at your main office then see if you can use that and connect RB to it from the other end. I have Cisco 5510 at our main office and I connect 3 remote offices to with RB750G. I use IPsec tunnel to achieve that. I answered something similar here: http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/ipsec-site-to-site-mikrotik-cisco-vpn-can-only-send/59100/1 . If you need more info then I’m happy to tell you more if I can be of any assistance.

Try these.

thanks for replying. i already have one PC who is running routerOS in main office, so i would just need to know how to setup IPsec to connect to the new site. i have a server running in the office, would users in the remote site be able to access it like they are on their own network?

How do they currently access it?
