I have a 24V solar charge controller that I would like to use to run my Microtik RB750UP. Here in the states, the microtik comes with a power cord which attaches to a 24V power adapter which then plugs into the back of the 750. My charge controller has an input for solar array, battery array, and a load. Do I cut the cable and plug the power cord into the charge controller, or should I try to run this right off the battery? Any help or tips would be great. Also, I am not sure if I need to keep the power adapter part or not since I am already running 24V, but I would still need the tip that plugs into the back of the unit. Any help would be appreciated.
