Dear Community.
I have a problem with TP-Link RE200 repeater not receiving Internet after ax3 router.
I’m a new user so please request more info if I’ve missed something.
ax3 setup:
- wifi2.4 and wifi 5g are both set in AP mode; ARP - reply only; band - 2Ghz AX & 5Ghz AX; channel width - 20/40 Mhz & 20/40/80 Mhz; frequency - 2412, 2462 & 5180, 5260, 5500; country - Ukraine
security: WPA PSK + WPA2 PSK; encryption - ccmp; - both wifi are in the bridge with ether ports;
- access list is set and repeater MAC added;
- DHCP server is set to static-only; repeater MAC added to leases;
- client’s MAC-address is added to wifi access list, leases and to ARP table to receive static IP.
TP-Link RE200 connected to Wifi2.4 and receiving IP properly; DHCP server on repeater is OFF;
Client connected to the repeater receiving proper IP from ax3.
But repeater and client after repeater both are not receiving Internet.
Client after repeater could ping and access all the clients from DHCP server and ping repeater but can’t ping ax3 router.
Ping from ax3 is not going through to repeater and client after repeater.
Other LAN clients in the network could ping and access both repeater and client connected to repeater easily.
Notice:
If Repeater connected via ethernet and working as Access Point working correctly and there is an Internet in repeater client.
